Pimobendan – 1.25 mg / 5 mg

A clinically proven cardiac medication that improves heart muscle contraction and widens blood vessels, helping the heart pump more efficiently and reducing cardiac workload. Used in dogs with congestive heart failure (CHF) caused by mitral valve disease (MVD) or dilated cardiomyopathy (DCM), and shown to support longer survival and better quality of life under veterinary guidance.
 

Liver Powder Flavor & Dried Yeast – 42 mg each

Palatability enhancers that improve taste and acceptance, making tablets easier to administer to dogs.
 

Mannitol – 105 mg

Functions as a filler and mild sweetener to improve tablet texture and palatability, supporting consistent intake.
 

Magnesium Stearate – 4 mg

A lubricant used in tablet manufacturing to ensure consistent tablet quality and smooth swallowing.
 

Sodium Starch Glycolate – 17 mg

Disintegrant that allows the tablet to break down efficiently after ingestion, supporting proper release of the active ingredient.
 

Microcrystalline Cellulose (MCC) – 103 mg / 99 mg

Provides tablet structure and ensures uniform distribution of pimobendan in each dose.

Dosage Instructions

Standard Dosage: 0.25 mg/kg, given twice daily (every 12 hours)
Tablet Strengths: 1.25 mg or 5 mg tablets (dose adjusted by body weight, veterinary recommended)

Administration: Best given about 1 hour before meals (or with a small amount of food if stomach sensitivity occurs)
